TRAITOR FOR CASH? – Tom Ridge

It was bound to happen. “Public servants” have become so corrupted, that they now ALWAYS go for the guaranteed millionaire status that a “tell-all” book can deliver.

According to the New York Times, Tom Ridge “…asserts in a new book that he was pressured by top advisers to President George W. Bush to raise the national threat level just before the 2004 election in what he suspected was an effort to influence the vote.”

Those who have seen the book, say that it DOES NOT say, “…that he was pressured.” To the contrary, he asserts, in a number of places, that NO PRESSURE was brought to bear.

If Ridge has ANY SELF-RESPECT at all, he will withdraw the book, or refuse to promote the book any more, in order to prevent this miscarriage of justice from being carried any further by the ENEMIES of this country.

If Ridge continues with this book, he will have confirmed what many suspect, that he is a TRAITOR FOR MONEY.

"Our first stimulus bill ... was sort of like taking half a tablet of Viagra and having also a bunch of candy mixed in ... as if everybody was putting in enough for their own constituents," he said. "It doesn't have really quite the wall that might have been anticipated there."

The Boracle of Obamaha seems to know more about Viagra and Candy (is he referring to the eye candy, who are attracted by his billions?), than he does about the current U.S. economy. This guy made his billions with a combination of cushy connections and a fair idea of old fashioned value investing. In recent years, he has lost far more money than he has made. Like other rich liberals (e.g. the Pirate of Silicon Valley, Bill Gates), he now is a committed philanthropist, certainly not an anonymous one, who wants to use his philanthropy for his own self-aggrandizement.

Buffett also seems to want to use other people’s (i.e. taxpayers) money to further his own ideas of where “charity” should be directed.

Warren – Please use whatever influence that you have, over the ObaMarxist (EXCEPT MONEY), to convince him to STOP THIS GOVERNMENT PROFLIGACY!

My prediction is that Specter, who previously announced that he is AGAINST the "Card Check" bill, i.e. the Union sponsored legislation, which does away with a secret ballot in the Union's attempt to force a union on employers, will try to SELL THAT VOTE to the union, in return for their support for his candidacy, as a Democrat, in the 2010 election.

This Republican “pretender” (because he doesn’t even rise to the level of the typical RINO), was a Democrat for his first 33 years; but switched to the Republican Party in 1966, in order to win elections. His only consistency over the years, has been his willingness to be inconsistent, in order to advance his own career, having fed at one public trough or another, since then.

He has been in (not served) the U.S. Senate since 1980. That is 29 years of betraying principle after principle to advance HIS interests, not the interests of his country or his party. “Time” magazine, another wholly owned subsidiary of the party of the left, even selected him as one of the “… Ten Best Senators” in 2006. How better can one identify him as a leftist in GOP clothing.

Where the Hell Are the Seals?

Now we really know that we are well into the Obama administration. The Townhall headline reads, “Officials: FBI launches criminal piracy probe”.

The “crime” isn’t even over, and we are now going to do a “piracy probe.”

Where the hell are the Navy Seals? I suspect that I know. They are HANDCUFFED by the weak-kneed, lily-livered policies of the Obama administration.

Last night a brave merchant sea captain predictably attempted an escape from armed, terrorist, pirates on the high seas. Capt. Richard Phillips took an opportunity, in the dark, and jumped into the Indian Ocean trying to escape his deadly captivity.

Did we have a SEAL team in the water? Apparently not. Did the camera-equipped drones alert the brave Navy to respond immediately? Who knows?

We have the MIGHTY U.S. Navy surrounding this small group of four (or so) pirates. We have unmanned drones flying overhead. We have helicopters.

What should have happened? I don’t think that it takes an expert to know. We should have had a SEAL team in the water. They should have been aware that the Captain might attempt an escape. They should have been looking for ways to disable the little lifeboat, which is holding the mighty U.S. Navy at bay. They should have been ready on the ship to blow the pirates out of the water, when the SEALS confirmed that they had the Captain.

No wonder that the international community NOW refers to the United States as “impotent” , “weakened”, “confused”, “unprepared”, “powerless”.

Our Navy is bobbing around on the high seas, while the FRENCH NAVY rescues hostages from pirates holding them on a yacht!

Apparently the Navy does not have liberal “Rules of Engagement” from the “Community Organizer in Chief.” They will apparently have to wait while

Obama administration personnel “debate” the situation, and “mull over” the situation.

Open Letter to Glenn Beck

You Are Hurting The Tax Protests & The Conservative Movement

Glenn – I have now dropped out of your 912 group and out of the now “over-organized” tax protest rallies. Many of my friends and family have done the same. In view of that, I suspect that many others, not personally known to me, probably have done the same.

I believe that you are a sincere person, otherwise I would not bother to share these sentiments with you.

You, a big celebrity, have inserted yourself into (what was) a true and honest grassroots movement. There are a few other celebrities that have done the same. I have met some of the organizers of the tax protests, and they are capable, successful small businessmen and women, mothers, fathers, teachers, truck drivers, doctors, lawyers, stay-at-home Moms and Dads, patriotic citizens all.

In a way, you and your fellow celebrities have, unintentionally I am sure, insulted those organizers by superimposing yourselves into the local movements, which they started. Maybe you thought that they weren’t up to the task, that the movements would lose steam, or that they would fizzle in the end. Maybe they would – but maybe - just maybe they wouldn’t.

The rallies that I attended had a wide range of citizens, with a wide range of interests and complaints. Sprinkled among the “pure” tax protesters were Second Amendment advocates, real civil libertarians (not ACLU types), pro-life advocates, vocal supporters of our military men and women, and many, many others.

These patriots carried a wide variety of protest signs, made by their own hands, not the professionally printed (union label) signs, paid for with Federal tax money, which were carried by the ACORN extortionists through Connecticut. Nonetheless the signs were creative, many were very artistic, and some were just hand printed on cardboard. They all had sentiments, which (in my view) were compatible across the entire conservative spectrum.

Since then, you professionals have moved into the picture, and I hear you and others warning and cajoling us not to have signs that attack Obama, or Pelosi, or Reed, etc. In other words, you are preaching the gospel of political correctness to us. I am sure that you have your reasons. Maybe you think that the Main-Sewer-Media will use those sentiments to try to call us kooks, morons, and revolutionaries. Maybe they will. However, they would do that anyway, even if we just walked down the street with our hands empty and our heads drooping down, staring at the ground quietly, with nothing more than an American flag lapel pin on.

This report, as usual, calls for more legislation, more study, more endless yapping among the pointy-shoe crowd. All at the expense, of course, of the stupid, overburdened, and unprotected taxpayer.

Just what we need! A bunch of unstoppable mouths – former Secretaries of State, etc. – telling the President what to do, instead of vice-versa.

We the people didn’t elect many of these dipstick-lomats to public office. Our system, thank God, was set up to make the President the Commander in Chief – not a bunch of striped pantywaists, who think that EVERYTHING can be solved by chatting until the enemy has buried the last American.

These pusillanimous procrastinators, who could NEVER actually make a decision on anything, except to talk about it some more, do not have the courage, the intelligence, nor the decision-making ability to pronounce that the Commander in Chief MUST beg Congress how to wage a war, in order to protect our country and our citizens.

If they paid any attention to anything, except how their makeup looks for their press conferences, they would have seen that Congress IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED. During the war in Afghanistan and the war in Iraq, every time ANY sensitive information was shared with Congress, it was leaked by one of those traitorous cowards, if not for political advantage, then for their own personal aggrandizement.

When these lily-livers state that the present laws have “failed to promote cooperation between the executive and legislative branch”, they are totally out of their league and out of their minds. If the President had to give any more deference to Congress than under the present law, the enemy would have the detailed battle plan in their generals’ war room before the first shot has been fired.

This moronic “bipartisan plan” looks as if it had been written by the New York Times, Michael Moore, Benedict Arnold, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Baba Wawa. The entire list of characters behind this piece of utter garbage reads like a Who’s Who of self-appointed permanent governmental elitists, who will stop at nothing until they have turned the entire world into a two-class caste system consisting of the governing Brahmins (parasites) at the top and the tax-paying general public (hosts) at the bottom. The term “Public Service” must now be removed from the dictionary.

If we do not put a stop to this madness, America will be burning, while the next President tries to get emergency war authority, while the enemy is marching us around the countryside, bound in chains.

This time Jimmuh is planning to visit his Terrorist comrades from Hamas in Syria. According to Fox News, “The Arabic-language newspaper Al-Hayat reported Tuesday that Carter was planning a trip to Syria for mid-April, during which he would meet with Khaled Meshal, the exiled head of the Palestinian terror group Hamas, on April 18.”

No doubt we are soon to be treated to another performance of the M---n from Plains, as he calls yet another press conference to slander America and Israel.

Prior to the misadventures of Carter (after his unceremonious, landslide defeat in the 1980 presidential election), subsequent to the end of his single disastrous term as President, past U.S. Presidents were dignified senior statesmen. They did not criticize the actions of those Presidents that followed them, and they limited their foreign engagements to assignments from the sitting President to represent their country at the funerals of foreign dignitaries abroad, etc.

Jimmuh, however, having failed miserably as President, has been a one-man wrecking crew for U.S. foreign policy ever since. Between insane America-hating rants in the lands of our enemies, he has lent his own special  imprimatur to endorse dubious foreign elections of totalitarian thugs.

It is high time that the law was laid down to this traitor. His passport should be confiscated, his pension should be stopped and he should be prosecuted for his violations of the Logan Act.

He is, and he always will be, the laughing stock of former U.S. Presidents. For his own sake, and for the sake of his family, he should retire to his peanuts in Georgia. Memo to Rosalynn – Put a leash and a muzzle on him!

The Speech Barack Obama Should Have Delivered

[I am not a professional speech-writer, as you are about to find out. However, here is a freebie, for the consideration of Barack Obama. I believe that it is, if he could do so truthfully and sincerely, the speech that he should have given on March 18, 2008, in the City of Brotherly Love.]

I am profoundly sorry. I apologize with all my heart to the People of the United States and to my constituents in the State of Illinois.

I have been the beneficiary of an extraordinary gift, a gift that started before I was born and that has continued to this day. That gift began as a gift to my father, who was born black and poor in Africa. The greatest country that the world has ever known, the United States of America, gave my father a scholarship and brought him to the U.S., where he earned college degrees in economics, first at the University of Hawaii, and later a graduate degree at Harvard. This extraordinary gift occurred during the 1960s, surrounding the time of my birth, and the U.S. asked nothing of my father in return. For that gift, I thank you America.

My mother, a white woman, was given the gift of having been born in the greatest country on earth to two quintessential working class American parents - her father, who joined the U.S. Army after the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor, and her mother, who served the efforts of WWII by working in the Boeing plant in Wichita, Kansas. After the United States and its allies had defeated the forces of evil in WWII, these ordinary American parents saw to it that my mother had the opportunity to receive the level of education that had not been possible for them. This is the blueprint of the “American Dream” – parents doing their best to see that their children have even more opportunities than they had been afforded. For that gift, I thank you America.

America’s gift to my family, and thus to me, was the gift that kept on giving. I was granted the good fortune of having been born in the United States to my parents, two people of different races, making me an alloy of the great American melting pot. While my childhood was somewhat unconventional, owing to the life-choices of my divorced parents, who were world-travelers seeking knowledge and a way to contribute to their world, I consider that to have been an advantage, rather than a disability.

When I was ten, my mother sent me to live with my maternal grandparents, who accepted me unconditionally, in spite of the obvious difference in the color of our skin, and afforded me a further upbringing and educational opportunity, that made it possible for me to eventually reach a level of success that has exceeded that of my parents. America – thank you again.

What else has this unbelievable country given to me? The blessings are many too many for me to recount; but I will name just a few. I have been given the opportunity to obtain an extraordinary level of education, without having been born with family wealth. I have been entrusted by the people of Illinois, with the privilege of representing them in state government and then as a Senator in the Senate of the United States of America. Thank you Illinois, and thank you America.

In reflecting on all of these gifts, which would not have been possible in any other country on earth, at any other time in the history of this world, I have concluded that I have failed to sufficiently appreciate what I have been given. In fact, I have publicly complained about my country, in a way that denigrates this country and shows a lack of appreciation, of which I am deeply ashamed.

I am sorry. I am deeply sorry. In retrospect, I recognize that many of the gifts, that I have received, have been paid for by other Americans, people who don’t even know me, some people who are not even alive. I recognize that many of the gifts that I have received have been unavailable to others, because there is never enough to give equally to each person in the country, or in the world.

I now see that there are a number of things that I could have done, over the years, to more fully acknowledge the debt of gratitude that I owe to my country and to my countrymen, all of them.

While there are many things that I will try to do, in order to remedy this shortcoming, I want to address one issue in particular, and that is the race issue. This issue has recently been brought to the forefront, due to my membership in a particular church, with a particular pastor. I apologize that my approach to the race issue, and to the pronouncements of my pastor, has been cowardly. I have taken the typical politician’s approach to race in America. I, and my campaign organization, have tried to exploit race relations, and race-guilt in America, to my advantage. I have been able to rationalize that to myself by believing that this was the only way for me to be elected, and thus to make unique contributions to America.

I was wrong. I have not only failed you, I have failed my pastor, my congregation and my family. Over a very long period of time, I have failed to tell my pastor, and good friend, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, that I do not agree with his jaded and misguided view of the United States; nor his negative view of the white race. I have failed to try to convince him, and my congregation, that his vile pronouncements against America, and especially white Americans, is wrong and serves only to divide, rather than unify. Having been afraid to take those actions, I was then also wrong not to remove my family, especially my daughters, from that atmosphere of hate.

While my own particular racial makeup is somewhat unusual, it is not unique in this great country. While my level of education and experience may be unusual (or even above-average), it is not unique. In other words, I am not perfect, and I may not even be worthy to be asking you, the American people, to give me another gift, the extraordinary gift of trusting me to be President of the United States.

However, I will ask you to take a chance on me. I desperately want the opportunity to contribute to my country. I wish to do whatever I can, to the best of my ability, to repay part of the debt that I owe to the United States. I believe that I have the best ideas, and the best answers to issues, of any candidate in this contest for the presidency.

So I ask you, as humbly as I can, to cast an informed vote for me. Please, do not vote for me, or against me, because of the color of my skin. Please don’t vote for me, or against me, because of the color of your skin. All I ask is that you read my position papers, and those of my opponents. Listen to my speeches, and those of my opponents. If you conclude, as I hope and think you will, that my positions offer the best direction for America, vote for me. Together I truly believe that we can make America, the greatest country on earth, ever better.

So – I say again, I am sincerely sorry for my lack of gratitude to my God and my country. Please accept this belated thank-you for all of the gifts that I have been given. Please grant me the opportunity to repay my debt.
